In the app, use Report on a film, on an event, or on a person in the event's guest list. On a film's web page, tap Report this film. Or email us with the event's name and what you saw. We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks our Terms of Use, and suspend the people who posted it.
Anyone can block anyone: as a guest you can block the host or another guest, and as a host you can block a guest. Open the event, find them in the guest list (or use Block host), and choose Block. You leave the events they host, they're removed from the events you host along with their clips, and neither of you can join the other's events.
In events neither of you hosts, nobody is removed: the app hides them from you, in the guest list, in who's there and filming, and among the event's clips. Clips they filmed can still be in that event's films; if something in one shouldn't be there, report the film. If you'd rather not stay, choose Block and leave event.
We're told about every block, so we can check whether anything else needs doing. Unblock people in Settings → Blocked people.
Guests: open the event and choose Leave event. You can delete your clips at the same time; the event's films are then remade without them. Hosts: tap a guest in the guest list and choose Remove, optionally deleting their clips too. Removed guests can't rejoin. Hosts can also Delete event, which deletes every clip and film in it and stops its links working.
In the app, open Settings (tap your avatar on the home screen) and choose Delete account. This deletes your profile, every event you host with all its clips and films, your clips in other people's events, and your sign-in sessions, and revokes Cotake's access to your Apple ID. It can't be undone. If you can't open the app, email support@cotake.app with your display name and an event you were in, and we'll verify it's you and delete the account. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Usually a few minutes after a shot closes, once everyone's clips have uploaded. The full-quality version follows when the originals finish uploading over Wi-Fi.
Keep Cotake open on a good connection for a moment. The small copy goes up straight away; the full-quality file waits for Wi-Fi. You can see each clip's progress in Settings → Uploads.
The people in the event, and anyone they share the film's link with. The film shows the names of the people who filmed it.
Allow Cotake to use them in your phone's Settings → Cotake.
